Annual Giving Campaign
The Montessori School (previously St. Scholastica Montessori School) has served children and families in the Fort Smith region for almost fifty years. Founded in 1969, by Sister Kevin Bopp, The Montessori School is the only non-traditional school serving students ages 3-15.
Like most independent schools, tuition and fees at The Montessori School, alone do not fully cover the school’s financial obligations. Therefore donations and gifts have a powerful impact.
The school’s Annual Giving Campaign is a united effort to raise funds for needs outside of our general operating expenses.
Your gifts support our teacher education fund which provides funding for teacher training and conference registrations; student scholarships to aid families who believe in Montessori but need additional financial help; or, if you choose, you can direct your gift to general operations which enables the school to use funds where they are most needed.
The goal of this year’s Annual Giving Campaign is 100% support from families, staff, and the Board of Directors. Complete support sends a strong message to foundations and granting agencies that the values of our community are so strong that families and staff are willing to go above and beyond to support the school.
